On Thursday, June 27, 2018 Ziynne - Kid of Pop was a special guest at the legendary Apollo Theater in New York City (Harlem) for their Amateur Night which is sponsored by Coca-Cola.
Since opening its doors in 1914 an introducing the first Amateur Night contests in 1934, this historic theater has been the bedrock of jazz, gospel, R&B, and soul. Ella Fitzgerald, Sammy Davis Jr., James Brown, Gladys Knight, Luther Vandross, D'Angelo, Lauryn Hill, the Jackson 5, and many others started their musical careers on the Apollo stage.
Many say that a star was born as Ziynne - Kid of Pop brought the sold-out crowd to their feet at the legendary Apollo Theater, as he performed a tribute to the iconic Michael Jackson.
The Kid of Pop is no stranger to the Apollo Theater as he has performed there several times before.
