Thank You Oakland University

On Friday, February 2nd, Ziynne - Kid of Pop traveled to Rochester Michigan to perform the halftime show at Oakland University for their men's basketball Winterfest game! This game was televised nationally on ESPNU, and broadcasted on WDFN 1130 AM or with the iHeart Radio app.

This was a great matchup between the UIC Flames (University of Illinois Chicago) and the Golden Grizzlies of Oakland University; both teams are in the NCAA Horizon League.

This Winterfest game was complete with a tailgate party before the game which included music, food, and games for all ages. There was also a charitable car smash with the proceeds benefiting St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

While it was very cold the night of the game, many fans including the Grizzly Gang (Oakland University's students) packed the venue with the expectation that things were going to heat up...and things sure did heat up fast!

What a game between the UIC Flames and the Golden Grizzlies!
